Comparing '66 & '70 Sway Bar Mounting Points

I will be installing '70 b-body lower control arms on my '66 Satellite. So I haven't been out and about for quite some time to see a comparison. Could somebody please post a pic of the '70 sway bar mounting points? Thanks, Steve

Thanks for your reply. My replacement lower control arms have the sway bar end point mounts in the middle. It's the k-member mounting point area of a '70 to '72 b-body that I need a pic of. I apologize for the confusion. Thanks, Steve

Here are the setups. Don't think you can fit a 70 swaybar on a 66 K-frame.
Top is 70-72
Bottom is 66-69

Thanks for the pics, guys. Well, now I can see that I might not be able to use the '70 lower control arms as planned. The sway bar mounting tab on the '70 LCA would be to close to the '66 k-frame. The leverage resistance of the older sway bar would be less effective than the shorter '70 style LCA. But then again you have the leverage of the '70 LCA playing against the sway bar because of it's mounting tab. Your opinions are welcome.

I'm back in the hunt for a pair of '66-'69 LCA's again. Thanks for the help, Steve

I've used the Hotckis bars before and they work great. Just not "correct" if your wanting that. If not they are an easy fit. Just drill your LCA's for the bolt on brackets.

Just an FYI if you didn't already realize it-

They made an awful lot of 66 Chargers, and every one I've seen has a sway bar.

Search CL for "1966 Charger" and "1967 Charger" in "all for sale" so you get parts and cars.

Two are being parted out within 50 miles of me. One in either direction.

A new one pops up about every 6 months.

I bought a set of LCAs and the bar about 2 years ago for $80, about 30 min from my house.
