I have a 1966 belvedere wagon, and need to know if there are any other years or models that are compatible with it. Also, what is the model that is to be considered the upgrade to the belvedere?

66-67 Fury is a C body. Very little interchange except motor/trans.

66/67 Coronet has a lot of interchange, and 68-70 B body has a lot of drivetrian and structtural interchange as well as a few interior parts. 66/67 Charger will have minor interchange.

Satellite is the Plymouth B body "premium" model in 66/67

YY1: So the 66/67 Satellite and Coronet are the cars best likely to search for both interior and exterior parts for my wagon?

Yep.

Google images for all and you'll be able to see the differences.

Everything is based off the Belvedere...
`66: 2 and 4 door Belvedere I & Belvedere II , Satellite
`67: 2 and 4 door Belvedere I & Belvedere II , Satellite, and GTX
and as others have stated some parts from the Coronet will cross over.

If you post what you're looking for, we can probably tell what's a direct interchange, and what will work, but maybe not be 100% "correct" Things like arm rest pads are the same on all 66/67 B bodies, except some "high end" cars (like Satellite, Charger and Coronet 500) had 13" in the front, while the rest hd 9". 68-70 is a different pattern, but bolt on and work. Window cranks changed between 66 and 67, then again after that, but all will work up through the 80's.

Chrome trim on the exterior is usually different between all makes and models. Hoods are the same both years for their respective makes. Fenders are the same stampings, but usually the headlight buckets are different. Doors are the same all years all models exeept 4 door (and wagon) rear.

There are lots more but it would be a book to try to write out.
