Complete 1966 440 I pulled from a Chrysler. it was running but is being sold as a rebulidable core only . Located in Jamestown N Y . 1000.00 Paypal or cash .
4 bbl or 2 bbl If 4 bbl do you know if it was the HP version. Can't tell from the pictures. Thinking of replacing a charger 383 with this 440 if it will fit w/o too many changes.

Thanks Hemi71x, I am not that up on 440's. I am much more familiar with 340's. I know 383's could get 2 or 4 so just wondered if option was also for 440's. Good to know. So it will be this engine then: 440 V8 (4-bbl.), 350 hp and 480 foot-pounds of torque. Optional on all Polara, Polara 500, Monaco and Monaco 500 models (including wagons). Requires premium fuel. With a 10-to-1 compression ratio.
And the HP 440 was not available until 1967 so it won't be that.
