Completely confused

Pump and front bracket looks correct. Rear bracket is wrong.

Now look at my photos again. See the step in the rear bracket? Do you have one like that.

Take that bracket off the cylinder head, it's wrong and in the way.

Post #17 is a good example on 1970 and newer attachment.

The circled bracket looks like the one in your 69 coroner photo. Should that one go on the back of my pump?
