Thanks so much to u all for the welcoming to your group. At 68 yrs and car crazy since i was 10 yrs old, I've always chased the dream and worked hard for many years to love and enjoy some beautiful rides. I was a truck driver for most of my life and my lady worked in a warehouse. 25 yrs ago we re-mortgaged our home to do a rotisserie resto on a fully optioned 59 Ford Skyliner retractable. My dream car always was a red/black vinyl 68-70 Hemi Charger. That was never attainable w/my wages but its nice to dream right. I've had several sbc's over the years - Impalas, trucks and a couple Z-28's. My love for 50's Fords has kept me dedicated to them over the last 30 yrs. I was the President of the Fabulous 50's Ford Club of Manitoba for a few terms. While I still have my 57 Fairlane and a 56 F100 my dream of having a HEMI car has come true. I lost my lady to cancer two years ago - she was my reason for living and was beside me through all of the restorations through the years. I was a very fortunate man. I feel her presence now and I know she would support me as I try to console my broken heart with vehicles. My local Mopar friends seem happy for me and indeed my Ford guys also. Lets be real - theyre all great cars and the people are beautiful.
