Hello
Getting close on my 65 coronet project and delivery from painter .

I didn’t take this car apart and my first Mopar as I have said before.

1. Does dash pad need to be on prior to installing dash in car?

2. The console brackets were cut out of my 500 some reason. I found another set to replace them but unsure if there is a difference in location of brackets for auto or 4 speed console. Looks as though base is the same just different top except for fiberglass bubble on side .

Thanks again!

Dan

It's much easier to install the dash pad before the dash is installed and a real PITA to do when the dash is in, but it can be done.
I'm not sure on a 65, but 66-67 console brackets are different between an automatic and 4-speed.
