Console light switch plunger

Anyone know if these are available to buy anywhere? Other models that might work? I dont remember ever seeing one that wasnt colapsed lime the switch i have

Well I guess you have two options: one it doesn’t work currently, 2 you might break a broken switch... I do understand ya by all means.. Can you put a modern switch in the bezel? Good luck in your search

I would think 66-70 Charger/Coronet/C body would all have one.
Not sure of dash glove box is the same but may work.

Yes , thats the one. Yours looks like its been replaced because the plunger is plastic but i think them are less likely to break. If you have a good one let me know what youd want for it. Thanks, Mike

Ugh, no sorry. I looked today and I have the one for the glove box with the bulb in it. Smaller anyway.
I THINK the original part number is 2770301. One listed on EBay and the place wants $150 for it. They'll have that for quite some time.
However depending in the hole size (sorry I did not look at mine in the car) one of these may work. I did a little searching.

Spray something like sea foam or other penetrating lubricant around the pin. Be patient might take a few days.
If it looks rusty, soaking in vinegar for a week might help.
I might have one I could possibly spare.

Kroil is my favorite penetrating oil made by Kano ( funny thing is it’s made in Cali) works wonderfully!
