Converting 904/727 to 4 or 5 spd

Does anybody know what it takes to change from auto to either A833 or any other 5 speed that would bolt up to a 360. Any info is very helpful. Thanks in advance for your input.

It's already largely different from the way it was made as the 360 wasn't put stock into chargers until '75, so the engine isn't original. So why not just make her the way you want it? Just a little FYI if you weren't aware.

Not to be a wise guy/know it all.....360's were put in 1974 Chargers. Chrysler deleted the 340 option after 73' and replaced them with the 360 for the small block performance option. 360's were a standard engine starting in 1975

Like I said, not trying to be a wise guy-Mr. know it all and thanks for being cool about it. I hate those "i'm right/you're wrong" bitching sessions. Only reason I knew about the 74's with a 360 was having a high school buddy that had one.

Yah it's all good, for me its about learning more because I enjoy the cars and would also rather not spout off incorrect information, and yah those can get annoying, I don't really see the point of arguing online, don't really see how it solves anything.

well it looks like thats the way im gonna go, it may be 4000+ but from what people say, its a bad *** set up!!
