What is involved with converting to a 3 speed from a two speed? Do I need to change the switch only?

Many guys on here have done it. It's at least...switch, bell crank (1st piece of linkage), wiper motor and wiring. I've never done the swap

You will need the 3 speed motor. The crank arm and bushing kit for a 3 speed and the switch. The wiring is already there to do this..I looked back in my notes and here is a document I made back in 2009.

1-The dash wiring is the same all engines all wiper systems. This is for 69-b-body models.

2- Wiper motor 2 speed-2770090
3 speed 2983116

3-wiper link 2 speed 2631799
3 speed 2822273

4-Bushing 2 speed 2631766
3 speed 2580200

5-Switch 2 speed 3004177
3 speed 2864014

The rest of the linkage ect is all the same.

Dude! You’re a walking parts manual! Lol thanks!
There’s a restored 3 speed for sale for a decent price locally and I’m putting the oval air cleaner on so though about changing.

Why? Is this a commuter that get's run in fowl weather where you need the third speed?
