Anyone else got cool old trinkets in their tool box?

that is pretty old & COOL

I have a bunch of my granddads tools
when I get a new digital camera, I may take some photos & share

I used to have a folding pocket rule, wooden one, that I found quite useful. It was my grandfathers, and I believe it was a Lufkin? maybe. Anyway, they made specialized ones for various trades, like there was a mason's one, a plumber's version, etc. They all were standard on one side and they folded out to 6'. Mine was a plumber's one, and the flip side read in 45 degree scale, for quickly figuring run and rise when using 45 degree fittings, which plumbers do everyday. Basically it reads standard measurement, multiplied by ~1.45. Very handy, mine is long gone. Very confusing if you are'nt used to using it.

I carried a inside reader model for over 30 years in my ruler pocket (inner pocket on right leg of work jeans). Now my flip phone lives there.

I have a an oldish (1962) slide rule and drafting tools in my drawing drawer.
If I had more resources I could engineer the Charger to the moon with it.
Not really...I got lost at the LON SCALES.
And that's too bad because it looks like one could accurately calculate Boobie--Size with it.

I have a bunch of tools from my Grandfather and Father, both were machinists. Some are over 100 years old. Some were even home made for measuring. I think about them every time I open the tool box.
