Coolest Mustang?

I'm not saying Mustangs are cooler than B Bodies, but they've been around for a LONG time.
I did have a '66 Mustang fastback 289 as my high school car. I wouldn't mind having another.


Probably my favorite body style was the '69 Mach 1. 1969 was a hella good year for the Big 3 car companies.

Im working my son's 2003 Mustang Cobra. Im half owner, so have some vested interests. We bought 3 years back for under $10k. 75k mi on car. Still have a ways to go. But I got this cute little 4.6l DOHC engine running pretty good. The little roots type supercharger puts out about 10 psi boost with stock pully diameter and factory control chip. I got it's 6 speed shifting decent. But the stock shifter sucks for anything other than street use. Working the brakes, then new windshield. And of course, SERIOUS elbow grease cleaning. Interior is in very decent shape, but that too needs some TLC.

Then? That's the unknown. He wants to sell. With thoughts of $30k? Me? "I think this little gal loves me!" Sell? That's like letting our puppy run free!" (Ok, maybe not quite that. But still?)

I dont think he feels it? Lol.

Not sure its "Coolest" But its a cute version. Will post better pics as it gets cleaned up.
