Correct valley pan for my 440?

I'd reccomend opening the crossover where you live. Are you ever driving it on a 60 degree day? It will cough and buck like you've never seen before.

For July and august only it's fine where you are.
 
I think it depends if you have an electric choke or a stock style divorced (bi-mettallic) spring style choke.
Electric - block ok
divorced - crossover a good idea
 
The heat on the bottom of the intake atomizes the fuel so it will run correctly. It takes at least 20 minutes of running the engine to get het in the intake to run decent. Unless it 95 degrees outside.

Who has had a SB mopar that self clog themselves with carbon. They run like garbage.
Then when you open it back up it runs good again.
 
What should all the people running stealths or other aluminum heads do?
