Hi,

I bought my car with a CRT Tranny. I want to know what kind/type/model so how can I identify what CRT transmission is under my car?

And, what do you guys think it's worth because it has to make place for a A833 again.

Thanks!

The link above didn't work. I found CRT Transmissions on a Google search. They do automatic trans build-ups like Phoenix or B&M, etc. and are based in Florida. It looks to be either a Mopar Torqueflite 727 /8 (heavy duty) or a 904 /6 (light duty) factory transmission. The website shows $700 for regular or $800 for a full manual rebuild new for either one. What it is worth used? All depends on its condition, how many miles, etc. They have different pans on them, somebody wiser can probably post which is which.

It has a deeper aluminium oilpan and reversed manual valve body. Previous owner told me he put arround $3000 in the tranny...Think it has less then 2000 miles on it. First 300 where made by a Barton Hemi...
