Crusin The Coast 2019

Heading to the event this morning, I ran across a Sport Satellite (the owner make-believes it's a Roadrunner, but I didn't bust his chops over it):poke:

The Polara station wagon has an AWESOME fuel injection system, and a Tremec SIX speed stick!:bananadance:
They:lowdown: DROVE it from :canada:Canada:canada: to :confederateflag:Mississippi:confederateflag: for Cruisin the Coast!!

Are you snooping VIN numbers again biotech??
I will look at "6bbl/6pack" car vins or in the case of an A-12 the fender tag to see if they are real. Many if not most are not...
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery...
I'm happy to say that my VIN, radiator cradle support, and driver's side rear quarter panel stampings all match, and have that valuable "V" in them...
I'm also happy that the engine in it is a 1971 and not numbers matching...otherwise I'd be admiring someone else's Roadrunner because a matching numbers V-code Roadrunner would have been out of my price range (what I paid was a stretch) and I would have faced the dilemma of modding/not modding it.
It is a heavy rods steel crank 71 440, so if my understanding of what "makes" a 6bbl 440 is correct, that's basically the same engine.

I tried to focus on taking pix just of B-Bodies, because of the huge number of cars there, the focus of our forum, and, well...B-Bodies are the BEST! :bananadance:
Still a few "other" Mopars just begged me to memorialize them. The most stunning E-Body I've ever seen was a triple black V-code Super Track Pak 71 Cuda 4 speed. It was an attendee at Wellborn Museum a few years ago. I fit my Roadrunner and vise/versa. From the inside, in the driver's seat, my Roadrunner doesn't look or seem that big. I've never had enough seat time to know how an E-Body would fit me.
Besides, there is NO other Mopar that has as fine of an :carrot: as a B-Body with really wide tires!:bananadance:
Anyway, back to the pix:

Dropped TEN GRAND at the Coliseum!
MOST of it was on the wife's GTO :(
BUT...
I did get a CVF complete Black Diamond billet aluminum WRAPTOR serpentine system for the Roadrunner  :bananadance:
But WAIT! There's more!
I got the AC compressor on the Wraptor and a complete Vintage Air AC system and

POWER STEERING PUMP for the heart attack machine! Yes, I could see the Grim Reaper tapping me out one day in the future, trying to parallel park my Roadrunner....I guess the Borgeson power steering unit is compatible with the power steering pump on the Wraptor??
The Black Diamond finish will look GREAT with the existing crinkle black and aluminum valve covers I love the look of so much:

We got the clear ceramic coated polished aluminum Wraptor serpentine system for the 421 in the GTO, and a TKO 600 5 speed for the GTO along with a Dakota Digital Rally gauge set. She got a Vintage AC system too. We already got Cold Case radiators for both cars that were delivered this week, and they should do a great job keeping them cool with the new AC systems.

I also got $100 off a really nice American Powertrain Hydramax throwout bearing hydraulic clutch setup. Came to $550 or so.
I needed to change out the throwout bearing anyway, and if I do my math properly installing the new setup, proper bearing clearance is automatic!
Between getting my QA1 K-member and front suspension system I've had since last year installed, buying a KILLER Wilwood 4x6 piston disc brake system and getting that installed, and the addition of power steering as part of the Wraptor serpentine belt system, my driving experience is about to get a MAJOR upgrade!
I'll get the Vintage Air AC system installed when I can afford it, maybe at the same time I get the Dakota Digital gauges installed.
Being able to steer and stop, and adding the HitMaster launch control system to my new hydraulic clutch may mean I'll be able to hit the drag strip again and if I get the kind of results others have with the HitMaster, I may break into the 12s:bananadance:

You have a years worth of garage time in your future.

Lol. I am going to do what makes sense myself. Since I'm a one man small business, sometimes it makes more sense from a financial and logistical perspective to have mechanics I trust do the work.

Made it to Bay St. Louis this morning before sunrise. Around 6:20am. A lot of cars already here, quite a few were parked overnight. Still, we are in a great spot, within the first section of the main drag that all of the cars and people go down.
Cloudy, damp, windy and cold this morning, but once the clouds break, it's going to be nice!
:confederateflag:CRUISIN THE COAST! :bananadance:

Having fun in the SUN in Bay St. Louis!
I asked the tall girl to take my picture and all of a sudden....
