So i just reinstalled my Rallye cluster and now I have no dash lights. They flickered for a second, but now i don’t see any light. I checked the power going to them and they don’t seem to be getting any. I’m looking in my manual but i can’t seem to find where their power source traces back to.

Do your tail lights work? Both out your fuse is blown. Was great these old cars talked to us before they had scanner ports. Dash lights out = no tail lights. Radio won't work.. no reverse lights.

I actually did notice that but i thought it was because my dimmer switch just broke on me. That’s probably it!

On a ’71-74 B body, the dash instrument lamps have a separate 5-amp fuse independent of any other circuits.
So do the 62' b bodies. On mine it's a tan wire from the fuse block to the headlamp switch. I had power at both sides of the fuse, so it turned out to be the switch causing the problem. I was able to clean the switch and now have dash lights. A little corrode on a terminal is all it takes to screw it up and a little bit of 400 sandpaper is all it takes to fix it. Good luck

And make sure the dash has a good ground, just in case it's not the fuse.

Cluster lights takes the power from the parking lights circuit which is fused, then runs to another fuse for them self ( one of the tops fuse on fuse box, can't recall if left or right )

Check if you have parking lights first.

Otherwise it could be some ground deal or dimmer rehostat system corroed/dirty.

Technically the dash lights do not “take power from the parking lights circuit”. The B2 power feed (circuits L8-18P, M5-18P, X1-16R) to the headlight switch is fuse protected by a 20 amp fuse labeled “Cig Lighter”, this unswitched fused circuit also powers the cigar lighter and the red unswitched three-way bullet connector tap in the dash harness, as well as the parking lights. Should this fuse be blown, all the above items, the parking lights, and the dash lights will be out.
As mentioned above, another common problem with flickering or dead dash lights is the dimmer rheostat contacts in the head light switch. Dirty contact or resistor coil, can be cleaned up in most cases.

yes, well I meant, takes the same source than the parking lights to the headlights... same input prong at switch for both, parkings and dimmer function
