I actually did notice that but i thought it was because my dimmer switch just broke on me. That’s probably it!Do your tail lights work? Both out your fuse is blown. Was great these old cars talked to us before they had scanner ports. Dash lights out = no tail lights. Radio won't work.. no reverse lights.
So do the 62' b bodies. On mine it's a tan wire from the fuse block to the headlamp switch. I had power at both sides of the fuse, so it turned out to be the switch causing the problem. I was able to clean the switch and now have dash lights. A little corrode on a terminal is all it takes to screw it up and a little bit of 400 sandpaper is all it takes to fix it. Good luckOn a ’71-74 B body, the dash instrument lamps have a separate 5-amp fuse independent of any other circuits.
