Deal #2 that made my night or life!!

let me make sure i understand this correctly.... YOU GOT A '67 BELVEDERE WITH A HEMI THINGY IN IT FOR $150.00 ?????

Congrats.....I wanna see pics of the Plymouth towing the trailer with the hemi........:headbang:

If this is true and you say you want to help the poor old lady out why weren't you more truthful and give her more then she was asking? It's very possible that you could profit very well from this so why not do the right thing. Would you want someone to do this to your mother? Or maybe to your widowed wife when you are dead? Yea, when she sells that Taurus for $100 when it's really worth $250,000 because it's Turbo Coupe and it's the only one left in the world. Karma, goes a long way.
Maybe those cars are haunted :icon_axe: And the old man is pissed that you ripped off his loving wife :headbang: . There was an old Plymouth that went around killing people (Christine), that's probably a more belivable story then getting a Hemi "thingy" for less then junk prices.

Good Luck!

dude,,,,easy on the guy GEEEEEZUS.....YES, THIS STORY IS HARD TO BELIEVE BUT......

maybe this IS karma at work here. im sure that TURNING HOME is a good dude and has done alot for many people over the years and THIS IS HIS PAYBACK. i know for one that I myself have been a good person to many many people...only to get a good swift punch in the face by those that i have helped and been good to. I wish that something would happen to me like this...then i would know for sure that WHAT COMES AROUND, GOES AROUND.

i congratulate him on this, and im sure that the little old lady knows what she is doing....and has a good feeling about TURNING HOME ....or else why would she give those cars away?

i would not say that her dead husband is turning in his grave, i say that he is thankful those cars are going to someone that knows about them and will take care of them and love them like he obviously did.

thats all i have to say about that !... CONGRATS TURNING HOME...:hello2:

Well to be honest my month has been pretty rough...with the passing of my grandmother unexpectedly, my grandpa who is one hell of a body man had a routine surgery went wrong while he was recovering had a blood clot in neck restricted airflow had to have a trach done (with the doctors finger due to he stopped breathing) and afterr 4 weeks finally can eat applesauce, I have a olderr brother that is not allowed to drive or due to a very bad epilisepy case, my mother had to have surgery to fix two veins in legs on friday because they lost circulation, and my uncle was diagonosed with cancer and had surgery yesterday to remove the tumor from his kidney...so my month has been very rough...and I am trying everyway to keep a smile on my face and finding this car just really made me think God has a way to help you through the worst of times...I will take pics and everything people can doubt me or call me "this" or "that" but im a 20 year college kid I work 50 hour weeks to help support my family...last year I had to sell my 74 charger, yea people think oh just a third gen charger nothing rare I know but it was my car passed down to me when I was 16 and I drove it every day whether it was 20 below and snowing or a 100 degrees out I went everywhere with my car, that was in the family for 25 years or lose the house...the fact that I have worked my but off to buy the 73 I recently did and finding these two cars, I couldnt be more happier...I apologize for the long message, yea I would love to pay more and I am offering to take care of her yard and come visit her just to hear the stories of her husband racing was really sweet...so I will take pics and post later

Nice post and I hope everyone in your family gets better.

...look forward to seeing some photo's when you get the time too.

Good luck with the famioy, send my regards to your grandmother, and im subscribing to this, very anxious to see the superbee and the hemi motor thingy.

All I can say, sry about your month and all the family/life trials, and you lucky person. Congrats on the finds and killer deals

Thanks for the comments...as for the Charger finally got to really check it over...no super bee like she stated and I couldnt get a great look over the car until I took the tarp off...bummed I am but its a nice 72 se 400 is the what the vin # said...but have not opened the hood...she left the keys at her brother in laws house who also has the keys to the belvedere (and I talked to him on the phone and he said the belvedere is a 100% hemi his brother was the original owner and bought it new for his wife (the little old lady), so she left with her daughter and should be back in a hour or so, that way I can go check out that car...so pretty much got a plain ol' charger but I am really happy with the great shape of the hood, hideaway grille, black interior, center console, bucket seats, and ralley gauges...so her selling it for 250 with the trailer still isnt a bad deal...but lots of hope with the hemi car...he upped the price to $450 for that car which I agreed to..he said he has no room at his house where he has 9 Chargers and 1 superbee of his own...he knows what he is getting rid of and how much it is worth but said its what Dave (his brother) would have wanted giving a car to someone who appreciates history...sorry for keeping everyone waiting...but even though I didnt hit the holy grail like I was hoping for I still cant wait to see the hemi plymouth and really see what is under the hood of the charger...I also got to meet a great person and very kind old lady, who really appreciates the company and I enjoy the stories she was telling me of her husband racing

the charger...yea shes rough but still i am happy I met the little old lady...and if you see on the left the white garage is where the belvedere is located...and two houses down is a plymouth truck sitting under a car port in the back yard...I apologize to all the people, and yes it was a deal that was too good to be true for a rare superbee, and glad I finally got to check it all out

theres the ugly pics..but only 250 bucks with a trailer hey i am not mad about it...going to check out plymouth soon

Are you sure it's not a 72? Could be just 72 fenders on a 71. Good find though. Pics of the Hemi.?

I am going to really look at it when I pick it up at 4 today...but the Plymouth is still in the garage she called last night and said just to meet today at 4 so hope it all goes down

Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like a 72 SE. Hideaway headlight grill is 72. If it's a 72 SE, it would have had a vinyl top originally, and the rear side windows will be small (narrow, like about 8 inches wide.) From the distance on the side view photo, hard to tell about the side windows for sure, but it looks like the smaller window.

It's nice to see a Mopar getting a second chance at life. Obviously it needs a tremendous amount of work, but it will have more hope of survival in your hands than on that trailer. Good luck on your resto journey, and i'm looking forward to the HEMI pics!
