Hi guys!

Let me just start off by introducing myself. Im a 20 year old college student with a passion for old cars! I always loved B Bodies and almost all Mopars! Glad to be here.

Anyways, my question is regarding a Six Pack setup I have bought for myself. I believe that one of the carburetors isnt original but here it goes.

The intake manifold reads
2946276 A

Next, one carburetor reads 1559 at the top followed by LIST 4392-1. The next one reads 1999 at the top followed by LIST 4393-1. Last carburetor reads 1999 at the top and is LIST 4394-1.

Can anybody tell me if these are correct or not? And if not, what car are they for? I also would like to know if its for a manual or automatic transmission.

Also the air cleaner that he gave me seems correct, but it has the 440 Magnum 6 Pack Sticker on it, and I thought that did not come out till 1970. Let me know if you guys can help!

Sorry im just a young guy trying to learn more about vintage Mopars and educate other young people too :)

Hi
Welcome aboard
Thanks for joining the forum.

Hmm,
OC ?
NY ?
FLA ?
CA ?

Im researching your carbs...

Intake - 2946276 - 1970 six pack intake

Carbs are for a 1969 per the list numbers. Build dates indicate they are replacement carbs. Outboards are past the last production date of the A12 cars.

Front Carb - List #4393 - Build Date - 1999, 199th day of 1969, July 18th Friday
Center Carb - List #4392 (Automatic) - Build date - 1559, 155th day of 1969, June 4th Wednesday
Rear Carb - List #4394 - Build Date - 1999, 199th day of 1969, July 18th Friday

Hope this helps.

It does and thank you! But just curious, how could they be replacement carbs if the manifold is 1970 and the carbs were made in 1969?

Thanks! Just trying to learn.

The list numbers for 1970 are different. The latest build date for production line 69 carbs I have seen is 1289 on very late VIN A12 cars. 1970 list numbers below.

4375 - 70 center MT
4376 - 70 center AT
4382 - 70 Front
4383 - 70 Rear

BTW, welcome to the forum! It is great to see someone young interested in cars.....without computers in them.
