I have dents (aka "witness marks") on my stock (Felpro?) windage tray right in the area of cylinders #3 & #4. It looks like maybe the rod bolts are touching the windage tray on those two cylinders. I've never seen this before. It's a stock stroke motor. What do I do?

The only thing I can think of that caused it is that I've used this windage tray several times. I do have to bend it slightly to slide it around the oil pickup tube to install it (engine in car). Is the rod/windage tray clearance normally really close? Maybe I bent it just enough that those two rods now hit it?

The other "1/2-idea" I had was possibly using a thicker oil pan gasket for more clearance. I've been using cork Felpro parts store gaskets which look pretty thin.

What do you guys think? THANK YOU
