Has anyone built a simple one? I have the engine and transmission on the K-Frame Dolly and was noodling on what it would take to add a simple control panel & accessories (battery/radiator/ballast resistor/voltage regulator/etc) to run the engine/transmission. Has anyone done it with a list of parts and/or a simple drawing? I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on one (I've been looking for used one nearby); however, it would be nice to have it all running, validate no leaks (with my own eyes), and tune more while everything's accessible.

The shop broke it in and dyno'd it, so it's not 100% necessary.

Thanks
Ross

I built one years ago out of scrap tubing/metal that I had laying around. Turned out to be more in the way than it ever got used. I wound up cutting it up and using the metal on other projects. Rad, water pumps, battery, bellhousings, and starter all were used in other vehicles over time.
