Car guys like me do not understand how or why other people are not into cars. I can't grasp that some people simply see their cars as appliances, a tool to get to work and back.
I used to live in a traditional housing tract with a small lot. I had a few cars including 2 on the street. I did mechanical work, body and paint, I cut up cars... never a complaint in 9 years.
Now I live in a more rural setting. The one neighbor I have is an intolerant scallywag. She is a seasoned single woman that drives a Subaru, if that gives you an idea of what I am dealing with. Loud cars seem to be very offensive to her as well as dogs that occasionally bark. I've had to cut up and haul away branches and trees that have fallen in my yard from her side. She is hard to look at, her face could make a train want to take a dirt road. Add to that her bullshit hairstyle and pitchy, nasally voice....
