Does your Wife or Girlfriend help you with your cars?

Oh, wait....Maybe I'll skip that. Don't need the boobs adding waves to the finish.
 
Can't recall any time she's helped me with the cars, though If I needed a second hand, she would. Years ago she took the Cornet to a car show by herself. I was working when the car chow started, but when I was done, I drove my Firebird. She told me some guy was asking about it. She said it was mine, but I drove it to the show. He was impressed.

Last year my wife was at work and I need to put the Coronet's top up as I could latch it by myself. I asked my oldest daughter (19) that I needed her to sit on the top (frame) so I could latch it.
 
The short answer is Hell No!
Our cars just as well be strippers sitting on stools in the shop waiting for me to come out to play.
The funny thing is, she readily takes her girlfriends out there to show them off.
She likes the cars, she just doesn't like the time it takes to make them look the way they do.

Yes. Which is especially appreciated when the confines are tight and I cannot get my chubby fingers in there to do the job, as in the case of this photo. She has two Darts ('68 GTS 383 'vert and a '70 Swinger w/ a stroker small block) and a 2012 Shelby GT500 so she is usually quite supportive of my hobby/addiction and is the primary detailer of all of our cars

Lynn comes out to the garage only to ask me something when I don't hear the phone. Thinks it's a lot of money for a hobby. That's why I don't complain when she wants another quilting doodad or to go on a cruise. Trip to Scotland coming up for two weeks. Randy will be getting parts....lol. I just remind her that I have never said No to her.
 
Sure Kern, thanks for asking. Matter a fact, they both do! Everything goes along real smooth until I forget which days of the week my wife has off, and then problems arise....usually have to order new parts.

Yes she is in charge of all my safety equipment. Here she is changing my seat belts.
She also keeps my life insurance up to date. Funny I've never seen her smile like that.
 
Guess I'll go ahead, and keep mine. Heck, months away from the 50 year mark. She always gives me a third hand, when I need it in the shop. Back when I was a motorcycle escort, taking bike home every night, lived in an apartment. Parking spot was next to the dining table!

Years back I had a buddy over at my place working on his TURD Mustang II. This girlfriend of mine came out while I was under the car. She was wearing a white Summer dress with no underwear on. I wiggled out from under the car as she stood over me, looking up to see NO underwear at all.
"Hey Paul....I have to go...."
He understood.
