for asking a question regarding a Chevelle! The Chevelle I media blasted, primed and now working on removing/replacing the floors on has much more rust/cancer than the owner anticipated, and, when he came to check it out, he made a list of the metal he's going to need, qtrs were on that list, along with wheelhouses, trunk, and a outside right rocker arm. My question is this, I need clarification that the Chevelle comes with door jams as part of the qtr, the language of the vendor indicates this, but, I can't tell by the pics if this is the case. On the car, there is no obvious area where the qtr is a different piece from the door jams as on our MOPAR cars. Also, when GM put this car together they put the floor pan between the outer and inner rocker arm unlike on our cars where the floor just lies on the top of the inner rocker panel. Any ideas? And, sorry to clutter this MOPAR place up with a GM question, it's just business on my end you know?

I'll check on the chevelle that we're doing right now. I am pretty sure that the replacement 1/4's include the jamb area like the originals. If you are patching the floor pans, I don't think they go to the rocker. If you are doing the complete floor pans, I believe they do.

Full floors, the tie into the rockers. That's good news on the qtrs, with door jams!

If you're doing the full floors, get the one piece pan. You'll have to get the braces for underneath and there are extra pieces for bucket seats also. The full 1/4's replace the original at all the factory spots. They'll take work, they ain't perfect, but it sure beats smacking your head against swiss cheese originals...

Yup, they came in today, nice...I love new metal! GM stuff is WAY cheaper than our stuff!

Ford stuff too. I can get both front fenders, both valances, both QUARTERS, deck lid, trunk floor, and a door skin for less than a pair of 69 runner quarters

I left out what for. We got her a 65 Stang coupe that is a 289 stick car. That's what the body parts are for
