At 6 foot 1 inch, I very seldom have to look up at anyone. However, the few times I have been standing alongside someone taller than me, I have to admit it does feel a little intimidating.

I'm 6' 4" tall, so not many people are a lot taller than me. But in college I ran into a guy from the Russian basketball team when they were at my college - he was 7' 6" and a very big dude! Yes. I had to look up to him . . .

Now I know how it feels . . .

I try to put myself into the shoes of a girl that's only five foot tall sometimes and wonder how they feel with everyone around towering over them. A good case for high heels?

I'm 6'1" but our son is 6'7". Tall people do have an easier time in life in many ways. No, he does not, nor has he ever played basketball. lol.

I am 6' My son is 6'5" it does seem odd when I hug him and my arms are below his. I think humans in general are taller look back at the 50s. Everything was made for people less than 6' tall.

I am now 6-1, since got I old and my back discs are compressing. I used to be 6-3, and liked it. But still, I have cousins that are 6-5 to 6-8, so I am almost a runt at certain family gatherings... LOL

Hey Dibbons,
Sounds to us that you LIKE wearing high heals!!!!
Any other soft and silky fashion statement you like to wear while playing dress up ?????
C'mon, you can tell us the truth.... No pictures, though, please !!!!!!

I'm 6'3" and have been since my mid-teens.

Best perk- at concerts, I actually look for the 6'5" guys up front, there's no one standing right behind them and no one can see over them, but me.

Most tiring aspect when younger- no, I do not play basketball either (for the 400th time). Usually asked by men in their 60's.

Sounds like me.

I was 6'2" at 14 and at some time before age 20 gained another inch.

I am 6'2" and really hate going shoe shopping. The clerks are always looking at my crotch to get my shoe size.

Did anyone REALLY care how tall they are? Seriously? Take out your wallet, check your man card, and make sure it's still in force.

Actors are funny people.

I'm 6'3", my wife is 5'3".

We like curbs and sunken living rooms.
