Don't You Hate It When This Happens?

Don't tell me it got hit by a deer! In any event, is the airplane a write-off with damage like that or does it get repaired like cars do?
I rebuild them all... like a Ted's Daytona !

A deer ran into our motorcycle, me operating, my wife as a passenger. I saw him coming, but couldn’t keep him from broad-siding the rear half of our Yamaha FJR 1300. My wife got her 1st Buck and 1st helicopter ride on the same day. A titanium rod in her leg, but no lasting effects.

My one friend's uncle had a 70 440+6 Super Bee. He hit a horse. No more Super Bee. That was back in the early 70's.

Did you have to get permits for tree removal? You would around here.
No, they removed themselves. I just processed them.
Don't need permits where I am but some cities/towns require them.

this is my grandson run in with a couple of 4x4 posts attached to a sign could have been alot worse if it was 2 or 3 feet to his left , lucky! and a grampa with a farm post jack. and extra windshield adhesive had him take it all apart and reassemble, kid is pretty mechanically inclinded. she ain't pretty but will get him thru for a while.

Admire his efforts to make the best of a bad situation. We're all young once. Kudos to your grandson!

he worked for 2 years and saved for that truck paid for all of it on his own, trying like hell to make him self sustaining, seems to be working. A very good young man.

Now that is some fine work there. I’m very impressed with his effort, and his results. Give that young man his props, from all of us.

thank you, I will tell him, that will give him another burst of confidence, something every young person needs.

@Don selleck nice job and looks like it wouldn't take much more to make it look like new again!? Man, how old is your grand son? Good to see ones that take an interest in learning how to make broken things right instead of just saying 'oh well' and throw it away.....

A lot of us were listening even though our parents didn't think we were. I remember my dad telling me all the dang time "you don't listen" Well, there were times when I only heard part of what he was saying but seems like he was always on my *** lol
