It's even easier than that if you're not concerned with 100% factory appearance.
Back in the day I had to do so many of them (seemed like every old Mopar I bought had a worn out driver's hinge), I simply got a bolt the next size larger and with a long enough shoulder and drilled the holes to that size.
If you want to spend the extra time to drill for an interference fit on 2 of the 4 holes, and shape the bolt head, you can do that too.
