I just found some "windlace" for the doors of my 72 Satellite Sebring Plus on Ebay. The funny thing is, I don't remember removing such a thing when we painted the car a couple of months ago. Maybe it fell off back in the 70's. I don't know. Anyone have a picture of how this is placed on the door? Any problems closing the door? Should I leave it off? Thank you.

That is the pinch weld cover that goes on the exposed edge of metal that covers the edge all the way to under the door sill plate. Quarter Windlace 2.jpg

It is long gone in a lot of cars, you can get it at most interior shops for $5 or so...

Just as the previous replies said. Should you leave it off? I wouldn't
