Door Window Lift Bracket Install Help

On my 68 Charger the nylon rivet that holds the window lift bracket to the glass has lots of play. I found a kit on CI, but I'm not sure how to change it.
I watched a video, and one guy said there is a bushing type of piece that the nylon rivet goes thru and it has to be crushed with a C clamp. He also tells that the original window rivet with the bushing is not available anymore. Then other videos show someone just pushing it thru w/o crushing it.
Also not sure what the other parts are used for. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Well covered in my Bee restoration and my Superbird fix up. All you need is a punch to knock the lock center out, remove the outer shell and put the new one in and drive the new lock pin in.
