Drip Moulding Trick

Struggling to get the drip moulding off the Coronet without damage. The glue from the vinyl top was everywhere. Found a trick on a Mustang youtube how to. Get an old style church key, use the rounded end, wrap it up with tape where it would touch the pop bottle top so it won't scratch the trim and hook the trim with the tang that you would grab the edge of the pop top and pop it off like a bottle top. Worked absolutely perfectly. Had all pieces off that had been on since 1968 in less than 60 seconds.

I know what a church key is but maybe 34 isn't considered young, I don't feel old anyway

Oh and buy a real steal one, the cheap made in China ones bend to easy...

Is a "Church Key" anything like a "Master key" ? ...'cause I have a couple of them

Interesting.

Pretty sure a "church key" only works on beer bottles, though.
