Driving On Your Lift

Usually you wont need anything.... sometimes when i need to back a racecar on the lift, i will takealong a telescoping round mirror (kinda like a selfie stick) with me, so i can scope my wheels as i go.
 
Generally on mine, when pulling forward, I just eyeball it. I'll get to the ramps, get out to see if I need to move right or left, make the adjustment, get out and look again. From there I'll look out to see the runway and watch the spacing. When I clear the ramps, shut it off and move it forward, chock the tires and make sure the I clear my garage door on the backside. I had a friend spot this time since I wanted to back it on and have better access to the front end for the work I'm doing there.

If you need some comfort as you get used to it. tape a pool noodle sticking out from each post to find center and just drive straight.
 
After a little while you will get used to driving your car on the lift. I don't always get my tires perfectly line up center on the runways. But it doesn't matter. As long as all four wheels are on the run way.Everything will work okay.
Before I had my bridge jack, I had to worry about the the car being centered on the run ways. But now the car can be a couple inches to the left or right of the center of the run way. The bridge jack arms slide in our out to accommodate.
