Dropped a small Allen key.

Screw this . . .

Thread is messed up.jpg

. . . are we at page 4 yet? :poke:

This reminds me of when I dropped a 1/4” Allen wrench down the fuel pump hole in the 440. I was battling a stuck fuel pump pushrod (machined too big and was stuck in the block) and was using the wrench as a lever to try and free up the push rod when I slipped. The sound of that wrench falling down inside the black is something. I’ll never forget. I won the lottery the next day by sticking a magnet down through the distributor hole. I don’t think I ever had a pucker moment like that in my life.

I got that beat. Years ago just starting out I stuck a chain saw sharpening file in the spark plug hole of a chevy small block to check top of piston stroke. Snapped the sucker right off. That one cost me a head set and time to do it. Still not sure why I used a file? I never stuck anything other than a camera in a spark plug hole since.

It always feels good when you actually retrieve it & have it back in your fumbly hands! Just a good feeling.........so, how do i know that?!?!??!
