I'm throwing in one "Get out of jail free" card.I'll donate a rusty, bent up Allen key for the prize.

I had no idea it was changed by spell check. I saw someone else wrote about it.
I got that beat. Years ago just starting out I stuck a chain saw sharpening file in the spark plug hole of a chevy small block to check top of piston stroke. Snapped the sucker right off. That one cost me a head set and time to do it. Still not sure why I used a file? I never stuck anything other than a camera in a spark plug hole since. This reminds me of when I dropped a 1/4” Allen wrench down the fuel pump hole in the 440. I was battling a stuck fuel pump pushrod (machined too big and was stuck in the block) and was using the wrench as a lever to try and free up the push rod when I slipped. The sound of that wrench falling down inside the black is something. I’ll never forget. I won the lottery the next day by sticking a magnet down through the distributor hole. I don’t think I ever had a pucker moment like that in my life.
70 posts and the removal is confirmed. Yet the solution was spelled out in post #2 and 3. Gotta love this place.
I posted that suggestion in post #3. Apparently everyone has me on ignore. That hole surrounds heat crossover port to reduce heat transfer to head. It’s a dead end and even if you leave the wrench in there, it won’t affect anything. Magnet will give you peace of mind.
Least we didn't delete you completely. Most of us just skim read posts as I am guilty of.Apparently everyone has me on ignore.![]()
