I'm building a 340 to go in my 65 plymouth satellite and cannot find headers to fit according to everyones application list. TTI does sell them but for about 700 bucks! Yikes! I'm looking for something more affordable like Hookers. This car does have power steering. Most everyone lists their headers to fit 66 and up b-body. What's the difference? Any suggestions?

well if you set motor back 2inch. you can put heders for 66 and up b bodys i used elapent ears on my big block and put trans crossmember in backwords..

I had someone e-mail me today with a 65 that has a 360 in it, and he installed 67-70 a-body headers with no mods. Anyone else out there?

In same fix as you

I have a 63 Dodge 440, with PS that I want to put a built 340 in. Summit Racing was no help. I was thinking of doing the hugger style headers and custom exhaust in the event I cannot just buy long headers that will fit.

headers

Hey I found a man on the 62-65 mopar web site who's running a 360 in a 65 belvedere who told me he used Hooker's 67-70 a-body headers. I ordered them but it might be a while longer before I put em in. I can post the part # of headers he said worked perfectly for him with no mods. Talk back at ya soon!

67-70 A-Body headers work well.. They did on my 65' 318 (Non-Poly) motor!!
