Were Dunlops ever standard equipment tires on an early 1968 build (8/67) and can this date code be deciphered?

Thanks.

not a valid code.. if it was, it was built the 61st week of 2037, DOT date codes only started in 2000

Dunlop are not original tires to a 1968 mopar.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for verifying.

What would be a good modern replacement size tire to fit on the original rims? The tires that are on them are 775-14.

Dunlop tires were what you bought when you couldn't afford retreads.

Just kidding!

225 70 14 I think is the tallest modern substitute

not a valid code..
I suspect it is a valid code.....it's just that we don't know how to decode it.

You probably need to buy the Cornflakes with the Free Super-Spy Decoder Ring mail-away gift.
