They have a new chrome paint and was wondering if anybody has tried it yet?

Being a lifelong Steelers fan, I set about making six Lombardi Trophy replicas for my man cave. I tried out every chrome paint there is, and the best, by far, is Rustoleum. Also, I learned from guys who do a lot of chrome painting on models that how much the paint looks like real chrome depends a lot on the base coat the paint is applied to. I was using regular gray primer and getting good results, but when I switched to flat black as a primer, the chrome paint looked much better.

Alsa corp. makes the best chrome paint available it truly looks like chrome, in fact Ford and Chrysler use their products on plastic to chrome them, I have seen it on drag cars with glass bumpers and you could not tell them apart from a regular chrome bumper. definately not Kentucky chrome!!

I don't have a good pic, but I used it on the grille of my 71 Ranchero. It looks great from a couple of feet away and went on just fine.
