Got new E brake last week. The car is 1964 Polara, was 6/3 on the tree.Previous owner converted it to 440/833 o.d. I had lasik surgery so my friend went to put it on but can't find where it mounts before you attach it to equalizer.I'm going to look at it tomorrow.Just wondering if there are different trans mount (manual/auto/manual o.d.)and thats the problem. Also old speedo cable obviously wont work.Anybody know what speedo cable I need for 64 Dodge speedo to 833 o.d. tranny?Eventually 4.10/15" rims=what speedo gear?

The cable passes through the trans crossmember. It's a 1/2" hole on the drivers side.

Thanx Hitit I got a mount from my stash for old 63 Fury. It's got the hole. I'll chk Polara mount but need the retainer if its not on Polara. Do you know where I can get one?

The clip should be on the cable unless it got broke romoving the cable! A 62-67 cable will interchange,I have a cable for it!No correct gear the 4:10 get back to me if you need the cable.

My parts book is showing a p.n. Been awhile but I remember a retainer clip that was removable from cable on my 63 Fury. Its been 9 yrs ago I did resto and I'm old.
