Early B-bodies by Mosher. Drivers aluminum door mirror mounting. How?

Does anyone here have or knows someone that has a Mosher created '64-'65 Super Stock with the universal FIT SYSTEMS #1705 mirrors mounted on the drivers side doors? I need to know how they were mounted since I have aluminum doors. It would be great to have pictures to go by. Anyone?

I would want a backing plate with tapped threads or at the very least, thread nuts fastened into the door skin.
