Has anyone here run their car at an East Coast Timing Association event?
I was asking about doing a top speed run in this thread:

Thanks to 33 IMP for the suggestion to check it out. I had heard about the Maxton Mile back in the day and the the "Arkansas Mile" is the current successor. I am thinking that this is where I should be trying the top speed run.

After doing 186 mph on a well sorted deserted road I think I need to move the need to speed to a track. My new Hellcat Redeye is wicked fast (scary actually) and I don't think I have the nerve (or frankly, the stupidity) to try to hit 200 on a public road, even with spotters, on a deserted stretch.
I would be curious if anyone here has give that a whirl. I know some people here have run the Silver State Car Classic and that looks terrific but you need a roll bar over (I think) 110 mph. While that no doubt is highly advisable that not what I want to do.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.
