Anyone have any good luck with Aluma-Blast, Spray gray or Detail Gray from the eastwood company. Heard there pretty good, also which would be the closest to the cast iron look. Wanna paint my steering box, transmission housing without them looking kind tacky. Thanks guys

I used them and the paint holds up pretty well. Does it actually look cast....no, to get that look I'd recommend coating your parts in RPM.

One thing to remember is to just lightly mist them, so as not to build up the paint so much. When you get your steering box and tranny installed, you won't really notice so much anyway. I mist/paint a lot of cast/steel parts mostly for protection from rusting.

I cannot say anything about the Eastwood paint, but I use these:

Seymour 16-048 Cast Iron Gray coats great and looks good
Seymour 16-055 Non-Smudge Aluminum does good for a dull aluminum finish
Aervo 570 Universal Silver looks good for a shiny aluminum finish
Aervo 582 Cast Iron Gray looks too much like shiny engine paint so I don't use

I use Cast Blast from Seymour Paints. Matches so well, you cant even tell when it's painted. I've used Eastwoods Encapsulator, Carb Paint and 2K Extreme Chassis paint. All are really good products.

I used the high temp silver on my intake manifold...I'm happy with that
