Can you run a Edelbrock Performer RPM 440 in a 64 B-body without it hitting the stock hood?
I know that the Performer RPM is 1.7” taller than stock and I was able to run it in my car with a drop base but how much taller is the Dominator is over stock?
Thanks

I ran a victor 440 under a 64 dodge hood. Don't think I ever tried to get an aircleaner on it, (track car). Pretty tight. Taller than an rpm manifold, I believe.
Dominator is a great choice, about the same as stock or a tad taller.

RPM is about 1.5-1.6 taller than stock. The SD is about 0.90-1.0 taller than stock

Carb is a Demon 750. Same as Holley, and the air cleaner is a 3 inch, standard base
