I have a question on the numbers of my engine if anyone could help that would be great. I took pictures from both side of the engine. In the third picture the stamped numbers are overlapping that seems strange to me. I know this car has the original engine and it has never been out of the car.

June 6 1969 stamp date, and the 9E is the 69'. 9E368638 looks deeper to me and more original, is the car vin same as seen? Plymouth maybe? All my 69 dodges have the whole Vin, but my 69' Plymouth does not.(8 digits only)

Yes it's a 69 RR

The vin is RM23H9E168107.
Has anyone seen a motor stamped twice like this? Like I said earlier I know this to be the original engine.

Sometimes the guys stamping were either near sighted or drunk, I have seen numerous lousy stamps on legitimate cars.If that date stamp is really close to the Build date, you likely have the correct engine. My Coronet date stamp is three days prior to the build date, and the Vin is correctly stamped on the block. In 1967 I remember fixing the rattle in the passenger rear window cavity behind the panel of a new 66' Chevy Impala, and there were three empty beer cans with nasty notes attached to them. The good ole days!

The 168108 does not look factory to me.

Yes. How do you know for absolute certainty it is the original engine?

It was my neighbors car and he bought it from the dealer. He is the only person to ever work on the car. He even put locks on his hood so at the gas station attendant couldn't check his oil. He changed the oil every 1000 miles he loved this car.

The deepest VIN looks like 9E301*** but that is not a valid VIN. A 9E168*** VIN is possible.

Possibly a factory misstamp.
