Hello,

I have yet to rebuild the chassis on the '67 GTX.

I am thinking of pulling the suspension and K member off the car, replacing it with a fabricated tube part with casters (to keep the care safe and still roll around), rebuilding all the parts, then using a lift, dropping the car over the engine and transmission attached to K member and reassembling.

Is this a better plan then just reassembling the chassis parts and dropping the power plant in through the top?

Thanks for any been there done that experiences!

If you have access to a lift , assembling the engine and suspension on the K member is the quickest and easiest way.Had my driveline , suspension and exhaust jnstalled in a day.
