That's the thing that pisses me off the most about the whole "clean air" debate. The government continually pushes jobs out of the states because of how dirty they are only to send them to a place that's nowhere near as efficient as us and instead create even more pollution. This is why I don't believe in any of it, politicians aren't always as dumb as we'd like to think, if we know it then so do they so the question is why?

Obama told us why when he said it's time for America to step back and let others lead, they want to cripple our nation. Why?? I think we all know why.

lets call them are a very small, insignificant amount.
You could shut down the whole hobby and racing scene in this country overnight and
effect VERY little change in any emissions measurements in this country as a result.

What does all that mean?
The EPA is grandstanding to advance their agenda - and the results wouldn't matter if
they actually were serious about things.
Truthfully, they're struggling to make their budget requests relevant these days.

I'm with @Budnicks on this one - it's all about the money and keeping the EPA name
relevant and in the news, simply put - what we call being a "banty rooster" around these parts.
