Found a great site listing places to get real gas in the US and Canada, thought it might be helpful for those looking.

Thoughts on avgas?
I used avgas in my 10.3-1 340 Cuda but it only took a gallon to top off a tank of 93 non-ethanol to get rid of ping in the summer time....and I don't know of any airport that will pump directly into any motor vehicle that's registered for the road. Filling gas cans and you walking away is another matter but they want to hear that it's for off road or a project air planeIf you can get it, use it. Provided you have a nice high compression engine that needs it, and you can get avgas100. Even if it's just blended with automobile grade gas. Some people have had trouble with avgas not running well until the engine is hot, probably because of the lower vapor pressure since avgas is designed to be used at altitude. But when I crewed a friends stock car, that's all we used. Even the exhaust smelled like performance...not the wimpy car gas smell. You'd know the smell RC, from airplane engines..
Of course, you could get low lead avgas (100LL) which is still has plenty of lead for our cars, but there's also unleaded avgas in which case, why bother?
A lot of small airports won't fill your car, citing road tax rules. However, many will fill gas cans for you, if you tell them it's for off road use or for a boat.
