ever consider selling out and saying F it?

I've owned a couple businesses over the years got rid of all of it and here I am now working for a company 4-10's a week. I've seen both sides and they both have their perks. I can say one thing I've never worked harder than when I ran my own business. Its probably the easy way out working for someone else but a steady check and decent insurance I'm good. People are so unreliable now you pretty much just have to show up on time everyday and supervisors are happy.

truer words never spoken...

I will retire before going back to being a employee and do volunteer work.
Anything around here requires a minimum BA to make anything above minimum wage due to depressed economy and over stock of educated gene pool.

when I was a kid I realized I had a talent for this stuff........ and thought, what could be cooler than building hot rods for a living? ......... boy, was I a dumb ****!
You're killing your own dream by the way you're running it. Estimate extremely high, put it in writing with the word Estimate clearly printed across the top, take 50% down, order all of parts with it clearly stated that another 40% is due when the parts show up. Then you have 90% before you're deep into it. You can then adjust from there. If they don't pay the second pay, or the final pay, use my dad's tagline..... you can buy your **** back off ebay!
