So I took the headers off my 318 in my rusty 67 charger to clean, weld, and cover the horribleness with an exhaust wrap... but the bolts are mix n matched, missing and of course one broken off in the head. Anyone know what the correct or at least best solution is? I’ve been looking on the internet and every set I see looks different. I also have some copper thread sealant for the front and back as they are or aren’t blind...? Coolant comes out:p

Replace studs with sealant on the front and rear holes. They do go into the water jackets. Are you reinstalling those headers ?? If so I would use Mr. Gasket header gaskets with Stage 8 header bolts. There are cheaper bolt kits but these will never come loose unless you want them to.

Thank you! I have a set of those exact gaskets waiting for me to pick up at my part store actually. And I’ll also check if they have those bolts or equivalent. Otherwise I’ll just go through amazon.
