No. He's offered it before.

Imho....neat car. Could it have been originally pink? Yes but better documentation would help his cause. Is there a premium attached to the car if it was? Maybe. But ask yourself, all things considered, how much of a premium would this car, in pink, carry over an equally done car in black or Hemi orange? I don't think the premium for being pink is that great. Interesting but not especially valuable.

if its offered by the original owners son is it possible he has pics/ documents from "back in the day "

does that mean you bought it

My cousin bought it. He will never sell it and if he does I'll buy it. I think it's a piece of mopar history but that's just my opinion.

Who doesn't like a big block 4 speed 69 bee anyway?

don't know about the colour

He has over 100 pics of it from back in the day. Maybe Soutar dodge will have some info if they aren't tits up.
Congrats to your cousin! I like special color combinations, and this is special for sure. Maybe you can post some of the old pics if you have the time. I know that the car was discussed maybe a year ago and the OP didn't came up with any documents to prove its origin.

I'll ask my cousin if he wouldn't mind me posting some of the old school pics.

Just to be clear the car isn't for sale and won't be. Isn't a flip etc. it's just a cool mopar to add to our family of them.

The more I look at it I can tell the guy painted it a little more manly color of red. Pink to red not a bad color change so it makes sense. It's now very faded and oxidized so in pics etc it looks orange which it's not.

Man you guys the more I look at this car the more I realize it's the real deal. It's raining now but I'll make a video or post pics. Crazy. So so neat man.

It sure does look like it was pink, very cool car indeed.
I just couldn't do pink though.

I like the pink and what a damn shame it would be to change the color on it

Love them in black tho

As much as I dislike the color--I also think it would be a shame to remake this car and have only the pictures you have to show what --it was-- to start with.
Either way --every car as solid -as this one appears- deserves careful consideration.
In the distant past It would likely have been a donor car for it's parts like many were.
Whatever color you end up with you do have history pictures that will help cement the cars history.---In my book that is always a plus for everyone on down the line.

BTW---If it was in my garage I would still be scratching my head and be here talking about it with all the rest. Good luck with something that is at the very least --fun.
