factory radio removal

Hello all just wondering if they know the sequence to removing a factory thumb wheel radio out of a 69 charger with a/c console shift as i cant's seem to wiggle it out of the dash don't matter which way i try thanks

There's a screw in the back that holds the radio in place, you have to access it from under the dash. Follow the antenna wire and you'll see it.

yes done all that what i meant was where do you pull the radio out of which exit hole as it won't fit anywhere to remove it

Radio comes straight out once the front panel plate and rear support screw are removed..

You have to take the center vent out. Possibly the console too. My column shift car came out without much fuss after the vent was gone. Think I had to take the floor vents off first as well.
