Took the RR out for a little ride. Clutch is saturated and slipping. It's 1968 383 factory 4-spd; no clone, no conversion (however beat up). I need a factory-type OE clutch kit. It's been a long time. Do I need 11-inch, 1x23 spline disk and pressure plate?

Looked around on the web some, and most replacement pressure plates seem to be diaphragm now. I remember in the past they have been Borg & Beck. Is that going to be any trouble?

Thanks.

I have also noticed that the diaphragm plates are pretty popular these days but pretty sure you can still get a B&B from McLeod. If you have an oil saturated disc you may want to pull the bearing retainer and check/replace the seal. The 68 RR should have the full 11" clutch but there was also a 10.5" scalloped clutch somewhere along the line, which used a 10.5" P-plate and flywheel with an 11" disc.
