I bought a fan shroud recently from Mancini. Part number 130. I'm not real happy with the amount of space in between top and bottom. Is this something i should be concerned about or should I just seal it up with some black vinyl tape.

I do have a US Radiator 4 Core and it's not an original Mopar part which might explain the gap.

Please don't use tape on it. The heat will melt it and you'll have a gooey mess on your hands. You might want to see what is preventing the shroud from mating with the radiator and modify what ever it is. It doesn't have to be an airtight seal. Close is good enough.

Unfortunately I don't think their is a way to modify this fan shroud without modifying the radiator itself.

I won't be using tape, some 5/16" rubber door insulation and use some pipe foam insulation for the corners.

Mine has a gap too and was told it was normal. Pics tomorrow. Has not affected idling cooling.

Not sure what your concern is. These things were not hermetically sealed to the radiator.
